MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS ?
MSDs include all soft tissue pathologies (muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves) related to work activities and their consequences.
These injuries occur in the joints of the upper and lower limbs or the spine. They are painful and can also lead to a loss of strength or mobility.
MSDs are the most common occupational diseases. If left untreated, they can lead to chronic disability.
HOW TO RECOGNIZE MSD’s ?
Muscle fatigue, tingling, numbness or localised pain, the symptoms of MSDs can be very varied.
When they appear, they are only felt during the activity being carried out and disappear at rest. They do not reduce work capacity for now.
Then, if the disorders become established, the symptoms may persist after work and cause a reduction in work capacity.
